July 2026: Rolandeau’s Restaurant Menu

Rolandeau’s Restaurant, a fine dining establishment specializing in French and American cuisine, opened its doors in Auburn, Maine, at 775 Washington Street in 1972 under the ownership of Roland Nadeau. The restaurant was well-known for its specialty, the Roast Rib of Beef served au jus. The menu above from our archive collection, highlights the menu selections at this popular local restaurant.  It catered to various events, including business gatherings, private parties, and wedding rehearsals, in addition to serving lunch and dinner. Initially, Rolandeau’s could seat 225 diners. Operating hours were Tuesday through Friday for lunch, and Tuesday through Saturday for dinner. In 1988, the restaurant expanded its capacity to accommodate 240 diners.
