Summer Programming
Ignite your imagination and spark creativity in the summer.
Summer is meant for using your imagination and having fun—and you can find it right here at Maine MILL. Throughout the summer Maine MILL works with existing local summer programs to offer creative and imaginative programming options at the museum or at their location.
This summer you can also find us at Riverfest, July 14 and 15, where we will have fun hands-on activities the whole family can enjoy. Help us weave a community art piece with the colors of the river or play a special river themed game.
If you are interested in bringing your summer group to Maine MILL or inquiring about one of our programs please email info@mainemill.org or call 207-333-3881.

School Mural Project
Students from Lewiston High School, Edward Little High School, Next STEP and Tree Street Youth have partnered with Maine MILL to create murals for the walls of the Bates Mill Complex reflecting the theme of our current exhibition “Who We Are.” These beautiful murals, created by children in grades PK-12, reflect their honest and hopeful vision for who we are as a community and are the result of months of creative hard work. We invite you to join us on June 6 from 4:30-6:00, remarks at 5:00, for a celebration of the students’ work and to learn more about this collaborative effort.
