Made in Maine spotlights businesses making an impact locally, regionally, nationally, and around the globe that are continuing the long tradition of exceptional craftsmanship and industry in our region. You’ll have a chance to learn more about these fascinating trades and chat with the speakers for more insight.
Past programs include interviews with Mike Rancourt of Rancourt & Co discussing the creation of the footwear worn by Team USA at the Olympics, Peter Geiger of Farmers’ Almanac and Geiger, discussing the publication and history of the beloved publication, The Farmers’ Almanac and Ebenezer Akakpo of Akakpo Design Group explaining his unique jewelry inspired by his native Ghana and his adpoted home of Maine.

Alejandro Graciano is a cultural ambassador and an Afromexican musician that mixes Blues, Rock and Latin music into a unique musical style. He’ll share information about his heritage and play several pieces. Light refreshments will be served.
