Rita Morin worked in the shoe department. She discusses her childhood with 8 siblings and her transition to working in a shoe factory. She also describes the jobs in the mills that her family had and the community in her department.
Maine MILL will be open on January 2 and 3. We will be closed for the remainder of January as we install our next exhibit, which will open to the public on Friday, January 30.
