Armand Camire
Armand was born in Pembrook, NH, and moved to the Maine at the age of 3. He discusses growing up in the Lewiston-Auburn area in the 1930s, his family history with the Bates Mill, and his life as a weaver at the Bates Mill.
Maine MILL’s permanent exhibit is closed as we prepare to move to our new space. “Drawn in Light: Charlie Hewitt” remains open through the end of May and is free to the public. Opening weekend in our new building will be June 26-28.
