Fred Lebel

Fred Lebel has worked within the mills since he first started working alongside his father. In his interview, he talks about a few different jobs he held, however sums it all up to say that he ended up right back at Bates Mill. He worked his way up the totem pole there, ultimately stating that he wound up being the President of Manufacturing. He speaks on the trials that came with the selling and buying of the mill over the years. He goes on to talk about family heritage and history, his childhood in Lewiston, Maine, sports, and the social climate he found himself in growing up as well.
